Accomplishments
2006 - 2007

  • At the Executive Retreat, reviewed the existing Strategic Plan for the next 3 to 5 years and updated the Operational Plans for this upcoming year.
     
  • Held a Quarterly Meeting facilitated by an outside consultant to determine if the membership overall was in agreement with the direction of TC3; this meeting confirmed we were on track and gave some new ideas for the format of meetings in the upcoming year.
     
  • Implemented Operational Plans in the following categories: Legislative, Marketing and Membership, and Directory.
     
  • Completed an Annual Accomplishments Report at the request of the membership.
     
  • Printed Where To Turn Directory; Distribution sites set up throughout TC3 area.
     
  • Membership in Okeechobee and Indian River Counties increased by 10%.
     
  • Added 14 new agencies to TC3 membership this year.
     
  • Brevard County replicated the Legislative Summit for the second consecutive year.
     
  • Brevard County representatives traveled with TC3 representatives to Tallahassee on several occasions this year.
     
  • Hosted a successful Legislative Summit and Breakfast (note: legislative report out is separate).
     
  • Coordinated multiple trips to Tallahassee to advocate on behalf of the issues put forward in the Legislative Red Book.
     
  • Legislative Summit and Breakfast were budget neutral due to donations and sponsorships from the Community.
     
  • Successfully recruited a chair to the Marketing and Membership Committee that had this experience and background—please Welcome Christina Kaiser from United For Families to this role!
     
  • Trend Analysis completed on the Where to Turn Directory along with a Cost/Benefit Analysis.
     
  • Designed new TC3 website; all of the Legislative Summit Registration and Information Sheets will be electronic this year.  This website will also allow TC3 to do Legislative Action Alerts once completed.
     
  • Asked to present to Hillsborough County on replicating the Legislative Summit and also to present at Palm Health Care’s Annual retreat in Martin County (they are a private foundation for Palm Beach County); Senator Pruitt touted the Red Book and the Legislative Summit as the premier grass roots legislative effort in the state at the Statewide Children’s Summit in Orlando.
