Legislative Summit
Each year, member agencies come together for a summit to identify and prioritize critical issues that require advocacy or legislative changes. The issues are discussed and then voted on by member agencies, and these issues are then presented to our local legislative delegation in a concise book of local priorties (commonly referred to as the "Red Book"). Whether they are requests for funding or strategies to change or create laws, the Red Book comprises the local needs of our communities.

The 2008 Annual Legislative Summit was held on September 12 from 8:00 - 12:00 at the Port St. Lucie Community Center.
The Legislative Breakfast of Champions was held on September 19 from 8:00 - 11:00 at the Port St. Lucie Community Center. This is an invitation-only event for member agencies and community leaders where the legislative priorities are presented to our legislative delegation.
